He partakes of the indwelling Holy Spirit that has been promised to the Lord’s churches – Acts 2:33,38.
§ He is adopted into the sonship of God through the Spirit of adoption - Exo 4:22; Hos 11:1; Jn 1:12; Gal 4:1-7 (3:26-29); Rom 8:14-17; Eph 1:5 (Rom 9:4).
§ Becomes the seed of Abraham (a covenant son) – Gen 17:1-9. By the same quality of genuine faith comes into the “IN CHRIST New Covenant relationship” (the renewed Abrahamic Covenant), as the seed or children of Abraham and are counted righteous through Christ. Partakes/ shares in the everlasting covenant God made with Abraham (Gal 3:13-18; Heb 2:14-18). How is this possible? Through scriptural baptism one is grafted into the New Covenant relationship (#Gal 3:26-29). Abraham is the father of those who are counted as faithful (Rom 4:16,17).
§ Circumcised by the circumcision of Christ - Scriptural baptism is the circumcision of Christ in the heart by the operation of God through the Holy Spirit - Col 2:9-15.
§ Partakes of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ into the New Life in Jesus Christ - Rom 6:3-5.
§ Experiences putting on Christ for the first time - Gal 3:27.
§ Sealed with the earnest of the inheritance – 2Cor 1:21,22; Eph 1:13,14; 2Cor 5:5.
§ Anointed for service – Exo 30:30; Lev 8:12; 1Sam 10:1,6; 16:12,13; Mat 3:16,17; Acts 10:37,38; Jn 3:34 (Isa 61:1,2 cp Luk 4:18,19; Jn 3:34); 1Jn 2:20,27; 2Cor 1:21; 1Pet 2:5,9.
